Privacy Policy.
This policy explains what KANE collects through thinkkane.com, the KANE connector, and the hire prompt, and what we do with it. KANE is run by KANE Creative Group LLC, based in the United States.
What we collect
When you send us a brief through the Hire page, the hire prompt, or the KANE connector in your AI: your name, email, company, website, the brief itself, what you would spend to get started, and any answers you add. If the brief comes through the connector, we also see which AI app sent it, such as Claude or ChatGPT.
We never receive your chat. Your AI writes the brief, shows it to you, and sends only what you approve.
When you book a call: your name, email, company, your answers to the booking questions, your budget, and the time and time zone you pick.
When you visit the site: our hosting provider keeps basic request logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to run and protect the site. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
How we use it
To read your brief, reply to you, ask follow-up questions, write a proposal, schedule calls, and run the work if we take it on.
To keep the site and connector safe, for example by limiting how many briefs one email can send in a day.
We use AI tools, including models from third-party AI providers, to help read briefs and draft proposals and follow-up questions. A person at KANE reviews what goes out.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run KANE, and only for that purpose: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and file storage), Resend (email), Cal.com and Google (scheduling and calendar), our own system for managing client projects, and the AI providers we use to read briefs and draft documents.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep briefs and booking details for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if we work together, for the length of the work and our business records after. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email info@thinkkane.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law. We will honor them.
We store information in the United States. If you send us a brief from another country, it is moved to and kept in the US.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and limited access. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords, payment details, or anything you are not allowed to share.
Children
KANE works with businesses. The site and connector are not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
